Wordsmithery is a celebration of local poets and songwriters, delivered in a unique format which includes guest slots and floor spots. We invite a poet and a songwriter take it in turns to do two twenty minute shots, with a break to enjoy Future Yard’s cool cafe and bar. We then have room for 5 poets and 5 songwriters, each for one item in an exciting cocktail of talent; first come first served on the night.
Doors are from 7pm and it runs from 7.30 pm – 10 pm with tickets for the event costing £5.50 online or £6.50 on the door.
The wonderful host is Alison Schultz, one of the team members who brings you the Wirral Poetry Festival.

A night bus, N1, runs between Birkenhead and Liverpool every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. First departing from Birkenhead Bus Station at 1am, the bus leaves to Liverpool every hour, on the hour, until 5am. Full details on that service can be found here.
