Wordsmithery November 2024

The guest poet this month was Paul Griffiths aka The Birkenhead Poet. His colossal memory took us through Homer, Dante and more, with humour and freshness. Just great!

Paul is a bit of a local legend with a dynamic performance style and some unexpected props.

Iain Paterson brought the house down with his soulful blues songs, proving once again that storytelling through music is a language that connects us all. His performance was heartfelt and raw, leaving the audience spellbound. He played alongside some special guests; Erica Harwood & Nicky Baker Saunders, who graced us with their warmth and talent, adding a lovely dynamic to an already magical evening.
