Wordsmithery January 2025

The poet tonight was Paul Rowlands, who brought us giggles in his first set and took us through his personal journey in the second; finishing with his lyrics for a collaborative song with our song writer Dawn Williams. We feel humbled by the creative time these artists put in to bring us our first premiere!

The songwriter tonight was the lovely Dawn Williams, whose beautiful singing/playing was a delight. She started her 2nd set with a song she created with poet Paul Rowlands especially to premiere with us. Lucky us! Inspired by the likes of are Joan Baez, Aimee Mann, Chrissie Hynde, Patti Smith and Katie Melua, it’s always been Dawn’s dream to be a singer-songwriter.
