The Rockpoint Poets are an eclectic poetry collective of multi-skilled performance poets who put the spoken word at the forefront of every performance who can also write/ sing & rap / creative direct / play musical instruments including guitars & harmonicas, produce high level art / dance/mix & produce / act. Poetry genres include Rhythmic / Observation / Description / Humour / Zen / Slogans / Dark / Nostalgic. At any time there can be from 1-12 performers on stage at once and collaborate on any of the above styles mentioned. Amongst the poets are Theatre / Slam Winners / Gallery / Laureate / Authors / Psychologist / Resident / Ex-TV / Radio / Magazine Editor / Presenter / DJ / Technology.

Our December songwriter was the award winning Mike Easthaugh. Mike has been making waves after his win in Liverpool Acoustic Songwriters and is a regular at Friday Night Live in West Kirby. His songs use rich melodies and unexpected harmonic shifts to draw in the audience.
