Following on from the great response to Accord, our first combined Art and Poetry exhibition at Mayer Hall, 471 Routes CIC is pleased to present another opportunity for a collaborative exhibition between artists and poets. We will be back in Mayer Hall, Bebington, at the beginning of October with more art and poetry, this time on the theme of Untamed:Freedom. The exhibition will again feature work created between local poets and visual artists. Art can be produced for poetry or poems can be made for existing artwork and we would welcome works from new partnerships or new works from previous collaborations. The exhibition will be curated by 471RoutesCIC alongside featured artists and poets. These include: Susan Lee Brown, Geoff Owens, Judith Railton and Alison Schultz.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 2nd to 11th October at Mayer Hall. Visitors are invited to come and view and purchase the work and enjoy the space plus we have some important dates for your diary:
Friday 2nd October: We will be hosting an opening evening for the launch of the exhibition, featuring readings from the participating poets, alongside the return of the BSL signing choir.
Saturday 3rd October: To continue the celebrations of the coming together of artists and poets we will have the return of our favourite collaborative music event with a ‘double bubble’ gig from Creakin’ Gates and Machine Stops

A night bus, N1, runs between Birkenhead and Liverpool every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. First departing from Birkenhead Bus Station at 1am, the bus leaves to Liverpool every hour, on the hour, until 5am. Full details on that service can be found here.
