Accord Workshop : Call For Artists And Poets

471 Routes CIC is pleased to present a new collaborative exhibition between artists, poets in Mayer Hall, Bebington. The exhibition will feature work created between local poets and visual artists. Art can be produced for poetry or poems can be made for existing artwork. The exhibition will be curated by 471RoutesCIC alongside featured artists and poets. These include: Susan Lee Brown, Geoff Owens, Judith Railton and Alison Schultz.

There will be a workshop on 23 March, for artists and poets to meet and collaborate. Please provide us information about yourself (poet or artist or both) and your work to the email address below. If you are interested but unable to attend the workshop on the 23^rd March please register and we will contact you.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 26 June to 4 July at Mayer Hall. Visitors are invited to come and view and purchase the work and enjoy the space. 

We will be hosting an opening evening for the launch of the exhibition, featuring readings from the participating poets, alongside performances and musicians to be announced

The programme concludes on 4 July (7:00–11:00pm) with a super special closing event where Laura Carr will launch her debut album. She will be curating a rare full band performance with amazing local musicians Alison and Thomas Schultz and Mark Barrett.

She  is known for her accomplished musicianship across violin, voice and mandolin and her work draws on a rich range of influences such as folk ,offering a performance of depth, character and warmth.
