410 Rock Ferry Festival – Byrne Avenue Heavy Stage

A celebration of Rock Ferry with music and art

Sunday 14th September, 2025
2:00 pm
Byrne Avenue Baths, Byrne Avenue

Join us for a vibrant celebration of Rock Ferry through music and art, set across two of the area’s most iconic venues: the beloved Indigo Café and the historic Byrne Avenue Baths.

At the Indigo Café, enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment alongside their fantastic food. The newly renovated garden will host the Garden Stage, while the upstairs event space will feature the Poets Stage – both showcasing local talent and Wirral favourites.

Meanwhile, Byrne Avenue Baths will host a special art exhibition featuring artists from Rock Ferry. Also at Byrne Avenue the festival moves into their brand new venue space, the Old Laundry Room, where a line-up of bands will bring the noise to the festival with a line up of local punk bands.

471 Routes C.I.C. is proud to host this event on a ‘Pay What You Can’ basis, with tickets available at free, £2, or £5. Thanks to a small amount of funding from the Rock Ferry Community Fund, we are able to keep the event accessible to everyone, while any contributions made will be reinvested directly into supporting creative arts projects across the Wirral. By choosing to pay what you can afford, you’ll not only enjoy a great event but also help us continue to nurture and grow the local arts scene for our community.
We are asking people to purchase a ticket so we can keep a track of numbers coming along to the venues. (Even if you are purchasing a Free ticket.)

13:30-14:00 Buried In Amber

Buried In Amber is a metallic hardcore band that spawned from a solo project of vocalist Ethan, started to express and explore their feelings and frustrations with the scene at large, that developed into a full band. The band’s sound is heavily influenced by hardcore bands such as Splitknuckle and Special Move, early Code Orange and a lot of early death metal influence through Cryptopsy and Death, and the music touches on themes of personal loss, identity, and community.

14:15-14:45 Arcadia Ego

Arcadia Ego are a post-hardcore/emo four-piece, pulling elements from screamo, shoegaze, 90s emo and math rock. Combining the melodic accessibility of modern bands such as Touche Amore and Title Fight with the urgent intensity of At The Drive-in and Fugazi, Arcadia Ego push the boundaries of emotion with their unique sound.

15:00-15:30 Witherhorde

Merseyside Hardcore/Deathcore

FFO The Acacia Strain, Orthodox, Two steps and breakdowns. Violent dancing against violence

15:45-16:15 Rozemary

Rozemary is a fresh hit to the Merseyside heavy music scene. Formed by Izabel (vocals) Ved (guitar), Christy (bass) and Shay (drums), they blur the lines between the heavy purity of technical metalcore and the raw energy and brutality of the hardcore bands they often share a bill with. Inspired by bands such as Spiribox and Thornhill, they form their own unique sound and are a band not to miss
