Tilly has a BA Hons in Fine Art from Liverpool John Moores. She works primarily in Vitreous enamel producing a range of items from wall pieces to three-dimensional work, jewellery and bowls.
Whilst she has always drawn and painted alongside her craft practice, she has been drawn back towards painting, primarily portraiture and still life. She sees drawing as a fundamental skill which enhances and influences her approach to both oil painting and her enamel work.
Having studied with highly regarded professionals in silversmithing and metal forming she holds the coveted Craftsman of the Guild of Enamellers Award. Tilly is a former Chair of the Guild of Enamellers and was the regional representative for the North West of England and North Wales. She has work in numerous private collections and in the permanent collection of the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum.
