Sandy Bryson is an artist based in New Brighton, orginally from Liverpool, who has been painting for many years. She sold her work in Liverpool and Chester before taking a break due to life and family commitments. She resumed painting a few years ago, inspired by the unique light and coastal scenery of the Wirral peninsula.
Her artistic journey has taken her through various phases and styles, yet her love for watercolours has remained constant. “it is a medium that one is never quite in control of. I am always surprised and excited by its unpredictability and fluidity, and by seeing what emerges on the page’.
