Rachel Wilton

My work is inspired by the feelings we have and what we see if we go to any live music event. The two pieces represent different genres of music, I want people to feel as though they are inside the venue and can hear the music from my work; however it is up to them to interpret what music this may be.

The eyes in my image are very important as they represent everybody’s different viewpoints from what they see and hear. Everybody loves music, but not everybody enjoys the same type of music. I want my work to capture the joy and freedom that music brings to people.
